Loofaa brings loofah fiber abroad
During a market connection survey trip to Dak Lak in August this year, Mr. Niick Ruzzo, leader of VOS Advisory Company, in the US, was very impressed with fashion products and household items made from loofah fiber. Mr. Niick Ruzzo expressed that the novel, unique and environmentally friendly loofah fiber products have expanded his orientation for investment connection and business association.
“I visited one of Mr. Nguyen Phu Tung’s farms to witness the cultivation process and was really convinced by the lightness and versatility of the product. I am very excited to have the opportunity to expand the market and introduce his creative products to more people,” said Mr. Niick Ruzzo.
The person Mr. Niick Ruzzo mentioned is Mr. Nguyen Phu Tung, founder and General Director of Loofaa Joint Stock Company. From the initial products used in the kitchen such as pot holders, coasters, pot lifters, dishwashing, glass washing sticks… or used in the bathroom such as back scrubbers, back scrubber belts, soap bags, bath sponges… during the production process, the employees also created unique products such as handbags, hats, caps, wallets, slippers… The company also organizes design competitions to find new designs with high aesthetic value.
“Currently, the company has about 50 products. The current consumer markets are France and Hong Kong. Partners from the US, Canada, Japan, and Korea have also visited the raw material area and the company to cooperate together. The company’s products focus on products used in the bathroom as well as the kitchen and fashion items such as hats, handbags, insoles,… which are of interest to many people”, said Mr. Nguyen Phu Tung.
According to Mr. Tung, the company currently produces hundreds of thousands of products for bathrooms and kitchens each month. As for fashion products, the quantity is smaller, depending on the number of orders as well as the source of raw materials.
By creating many new products from loofah materials, Mr. Nguyen Phu Tung and his colleagues hope to contribute to promoting green consumption and environmental protection, while creating more jobs and increasing income for people. Along with existing products, the unit is also researching and creating new products to increase the value of loofah.
