In 2020, Mr. Nguyen Phu Tung – General Director of Loofaa and his colleagues started to build the first raw material area of 1.8 hectares in Krong Buk district (Dak Lak province). Up to now, after a long time of promoting the development of the scale of growing luffa for fiber, Loofaa has a raw material area with a total area of over 30 hectares. Of which, the raw material area in Buon Don is up to 16 hectares.

Mr. Le Trong Duyen – Head of Buon Don raw material area said that the Central Highlands has a climate and soil that is very suitable for luffa to produce high yields. The experts here also have many years of experience in planting and farming, so the techniques for taking care of plants in this raw material area are always guaranteed. This is also the largest growing area and plays an important role in Loofaa.
In addition, to create momentum for growth, the enterprise also cooperates with farmers in the Central Highlands provinces, signs contracts, guides on luffa planting and care techniques, and purchases luffa fiber for farmers. This brings efficiency to both farmers and enterprises, when farmers only focus on productivity and quality, the output has been signed by Loofa company for a long time.
The family of Ms. H’Wên Êban (Khanh Xuan Ward – Buon Ma Thuot City) is one of the families currently associated with Loofaa Joint Stock Company, with a stable income of 250-300 million VND/year. Ms. H’Wên said: “Since signing the contract with the company, we no longer need to worry about the output of luffa, the family economy is more stable”.
